My hp elitebook 8460p does not start up with power

Dear Hp team,

I am the user of hp product since long time and the services are all good.Currently i owned hp elitebook 8460p.Recently from 15 days i am facing unusual problem, i am facing 2 problems.

 

1. The laptop does not power on using power key but if i click power key along with HP QuickWeb button it immediately power on.

 

2.The second problem is that as i start my laptop it shows bios either missing or corrupted (501) error.I tried all error as given in forum but nothing works.

 

I am a developer and need an urgent solution since it somehow affects my work.

HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab153nr HP services hang startup

My 6 month old lap top recently started hanging on boot at the point where the HP services load.

 

The computer boots just fine in safe mode. By process of elimination (turning off services one by one and restarting) the computer boots fine as long as the HP services are prevented from trying to start.

 

1.  Will running with out these services harm my computer?

 

2. How do we fix those services so they don't hang?

Enabling virtualization on HP Pavilion 14 e015tu is preventing system from booting beyond hp logo

After enabling virtualization technology in my BIOS my system seems not to boot beyond the HP logo. But if I go back to disable virtualization technology in BIOS the system will boot completely. Please what can I do to ensure that when virtualization technology is enabled my system will boot completely as I'm trying to use virtualbox. Please I need your urgent response

BIOS SETTINGS to support an SSD on an HP 640 G2 notebook

I have a HP 640 G2 PRO notebook and I want to upgrade it to an SSD.  Is there a bios setting I need to configure it too?  I know on some machines they require a bios setting of ACHI instead of IDE... I cannot seem to find any setting in the bios that allows me to select ACHI or IDE. So will it work with an SSD without the need to make changes in the BIOS config screen?

hp stream laptop not starting up

i got my hp stream 11 laptop about 2 weeks ago it was working fine and all. I factory reset it cause it was fulling up too fast, i did this about 2 times since i got it, on the third time i did it but when i turned on back the laptop the hp icon came on but it just blink off back, it keeps doing that no matter what i did.

i went into troubleshooting to try and fix it but it still wont start, i try to restet it its the same thing. everything i did it still was not working, it cant reapir, it cant start up, it wont book up its just stuck at the hp logo and blinks off. please help

I've just bought a new laptop. I opened the program HP Support Assistant and it says that the remaining warranty is only 8 months. How is it possible?

DV7 black screen

Laptop turns on, fan runs, black screen.  After research on many sites it is either the cpu or gpu.  The error code is 1 blink on the caps lock.  I have read this is the error code for the cpu when in fact it was the graphics chip causing the problem.  Is it worth fixing?

My HP Envy (M7-K111DX) will not power up

My laptop won't boot up.  When I pull the battery and plug it in the LED light is white but won't start up.  When I put the battery in and plug it in the lED light is red but won't start up.  I have tried a hard reset.

my hp envy laptop just keeps shutting itself off...doesn't matter if it's cold, plugged in running on battery... anything it is less than a year..it keeps getting worse. Won't allow me to updates....help!!!!

BIOS Admin Password Lost

I recently purchased a Pavilion Notebook 17-g192dx and set the BIOS Admin password incorrectly and cannot unlock it.  After the third attempt, I get this message:

 

System Disabled

[i 51052544]

 

What should I do?  Any help would be greatly apprecipated!  I'm trying to get this laptop ready for my wife as a gift.

Bought a new Omen just to see that bios has no option to set default NUM Lock status as "ON"

 

Support is so difficult to access, cant it be simpler likeDELL that you just summarize and send mail
