My HP 255 just turned off while i was using it and wen i press the power button it blinks once, ive tried to remove the battry and start it on AC and it doesnt blink....left it on charger fo an hour an stil nothing buh instead u feel heat on the battry.
please help

My laptop does not want to function since yesterday. I have tried to follow the HP support guide for resolving problems but I did not reach a solution. First of all I disabled secure boot and enabled the legacy support and saved changes and then tried to switch the laptop on but I always got the following appearing on the screen :
" Boot Device Not Found

then I checked all the available support pages on Hp Support but there was no furthur support to the matter

Hello,
Because AVG Watch Dog, I can not boot Windows. As advised by the company to solve the problem I have to boot into safe with network management mode, download a utility and uninstall the software.
However, it is impossible to load the Safe Mode: either F8 or Shift-F8, none allows me to display any menu (I'm used to this kind of shortcuts).
My only option is to type ESC then F11, unfortunately "HP Recovery Manager" replaces the usual options of windows that would allow me safe mode !
There remains another way? There is no way to restore my system initial configuration because everything is correct (except of course this antivirus). I only seeks safe mode, after which I can manage.

i started a full recovery on HP ENVY x2 11-g010nr, but after a couple of hours it restarts and got windows install error aways, tryed recovery option (F11) again, but does not work anymore,. just stuck on black screen..
i'm going crazy, trying to reinstall windows,
i've tryed to change bios options to get windows install from usb, but it's locked, i put the wrong code 3 times and get the halt code 27267100

I have a Spectre X2 which I'm really enjoying however I'm find there are some issues that I have been struggling with.
1. Sometimes the tablet doesn't want to turn on.
a) To attempt to fix the issue I hold onto the power for 11seconds and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
b) I use the "Caps Lock" button/led as an indicator of sorts on the keyboard when it's attached and find that at times the screen stays black while the LED is on.
c) The number of times I need to press and/or hold down the power button isn't consistent. Sometimes it works straight away, sometimes it takes 5 tries or more, other times it takes less.
2. Sometimes the tablet screen will just turn off for no reason and then issue 1 will occur
3. Sometimes Windows 10 just won't shutdown when I ask it to. Which is kinda ironic after all the work I put into turning the tablet on. To turn it off I usually just use the start bar etc. and when that doesn work I use the "shutdown -s" line in command prompt and nothing happens (not even a prompt or any sort of text to inform me that it will shutdown soon). The tablet sometimes shuts down on its own when it feels like it.
What steps do I need to take to resolve the issue? I've had a look at display drivers and its up to date. I've looked into the support centre and ensured that all "Updates" in the "HPSupport Assistant" are installed.
