Please help.
Been struggling trying to figure this out and fix it over the past 24 hours.
First, the otherday my computer did do some updates later at night/early morning *as to which up dayes it did I'm kot sure all I know is I was late on updating and so it promted me to pick a time sp ao did. Laptop worked same as usual the next day.
Day after, I had closed my laptop to let it sleep for a while to give it a break (I probably should of did this via the home screen? Rather than just closing it?). *next day, in the late after noon* when I went to turn it back on/wake it up it went lile normal to my sign in page where I rype my password in to get to my home page - - Only it kept booting me back out when ever the page was loaded and I would attempt to go into crome or anything (after the 1st few tries I starting trying other things to see it it just wasnt crome acting up) to no avail nothing worked and it kept booting me out. Eventually it started to freeze on the sign in page and I couldn't even get to the power settings so I was forced to turn it off then turn it back on (did this a couple times) it finally let me back into my home page but still nothing worked except the cursor.
I eventually resorted to google via my phone to see if anyone else has had this problem and I found some posts with some "how to fix" info which I can't even remember what I had to do (some kind of command prompt/s I'm sure but as to what I have no idea) and I somehow managed to get it into "Safe Mode" (but cant seem to find a way to even log back in to get it off)
Well after all that now when I start my laptop it pretty much goes right to a black screen with the Blue HP logo and under that " Preparing Automatic Repair" (it varies but most times it lasts about a minute *sometimes 2/3*
After "preparing automatic repair" my screen then goes completly blank/black although still on and lit * lit, but still blank/black. The only thing on screen it the cursor when I move it about.
This blank/black screen *also varies in time (I know my computer is slow and its something i would also like to fix)* usaully lasts about 5/10 mins in which my screen then goes from blank/black with only the cursor being the only thing I see to another black scren with the HP logo only this time under it is says "Diagnosing your PC" for about a min, then "Attempting Repairs" for about half an hour
After the "Attempting Repairs" then the next thing that happens is an all blue screen/page that says
Automatic Repair
Automatic Repair couldn't repair your PC
Press "Advanced options" to try other options to repair your PC or "shut down" to turn off your PC
Log file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt
(With options) "shut down" & " Advanced Options"
Both of which I have had no luck in getting past my problem with any and all options I'm able to click
I have even tried both reset options (neither work and while losing everything is going to suck I would like to be back on my PC so completely resting is not a problem other than it wont even work)
Nothing in Recovery manager works
....I could go on and on with everything I've tried and I feel like I have only made things worse. Please can anyone help

' error and ever since that it wont turn on. i have tried to many solutions online and none will work!! everytime i boot it up the f12 key lights up a orange amber color and my caps lock blinks about five or four times before going again.
