Hp Envy 15 fails to boot
Hi,
My hp Envy 15 recently stoped booting.
When the power button is pressed the fan starts and the lights on the key board turn on. The caps lock light flashes twice repetitive. Nothing is seen in screen.
I have tried holding the power button to perform a reset but that had no effect.
I have tried repairing the bios by holding control-B but this had no effect.
When I tried to repair the bios from a usb the usb drive flashes and the back light of the screen briefly turns on before turning off again. This behaviour is repeated until the laptop is turned off.
I would be incredibly greatful of any advice on what further actions I can undertake.

HP BIOS Administrator Can't Access Security Settings
I setup a BIOS Admin password and restarted, but when I sign into the BIOS, I can't access the security settings still, and pressing Setup BIOS Password doesn't do anything. How do I fix this? I'm on the latest BIOS version (1.46).

When I turn on the notebook I get the following message:

I am able to change the option yes/no using the touchscreen, but unable to click "enter" on the keyboard
Searching the web I found out this is a known issue, but could not find a solution
It seems that HP recalled the devices that had this issue, so there must be something faulty with the device, not with how I use it.

Had 9 HP machines over nearly 2 decades (!!) I think they are the best, and never had such a problem.

Laptop won’t power on
Hey guys so the laptop used to work beautifully. When I first got it, it had no power adapter so my father purchased one online which I don’t think was matched correctly. It had the original battery with power meter on the back which slowly died. Since then I’ve purchased a new power adapter from Best Buy that the guy claimed was appropriate.When that didn’t work I bought a battery online also claiming to be matched appropriately.
The power cord is an HP
Regulatory model: PPP012C – S 100-240v ~1.5A 50-60hz date code 1605 sn: 3CB6220K4s
The battery is by CWK it’s a lithium ion 10.8 V 5200mAh/56Wh
I found a couple forms about doing static discharge and such so I’m going to try that but it won’t even turn on with the power cord inserted with or without the battery. It’s a great little laptop I’d love to have working again however if possible I’d really like to be able to save the information on it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Delay in windows boot
My laptop's taking too much time to boot since the windows update.
I googled around and found this event viewer utility that can trace what is causing the delay.
Can you please help me solve this problem with Event Viewer or by any other method.
P.S. I cannot restore/reset my laptop to previous state as I have done so much work since the problem occured for the first time.

Laptop startup going straight to BIOS setting
I am having trouble starting up my laptop (HP ProBook 430 G3).
Whenever I am putting the power on, it is going straight into the BIOS settings instead of Windows startup.

Hello my laptop wont turn on ivee searched every where and i get the pull the battery out discharge the laptop and plug in batteries/chargers to see if it turns on and none of them have worked, is there another way to reset the laptop or something i can do i hate not being able to turn it on anymore.

Hp Elitebook 850 G3 Not turning on
Hello,
My elitebook 850 g3 won't start. I spend days searching on forums, google, youtube, hp but can't find any working solution yet. I tried the hard reset and many other button combinations. Only thing i didn't try is removing the sealed off battery yet because i get a led blinking code where i cant find the meaning for. Thanks in advance for those wanting to help me, for your time and help. I'll describe the problem as good as possible:
So here's the problem:
1. I press the power on button and it flashes white every 7 seconds. At the same time at the top right the wifi led blinks orange and the mute led blinks white. I cant hear any sounds of the laptop starting and it keeps blinking every 7 seconds for hours untill i think the laptop battery charge is empty.
2. I also got 4 leds at the bottom left of the elitebook that flashes together with number 1 within the same 7 seconds time, from left to right its a wifi led, power led, charge led and a disk led. Firstly the charge led blinks very fast from white to orange to white to orange ( 2 seconds) and after that very fast the wifi led blinks orange together with a white power led and a orange disk led (1 second). This keeps repeating together with the leds at number 1 so for 4 seconds theres no led down left blinking until the power led at the top left blinks again from the 7 seconds interval.
3. While charging with the AC plugged in it seems that the charge led at the bottom left sometimes stays orange for around 20 minutes and then it falls out and sometimes there's no led at all. After a hard reset the same led stays white for 10 seconds with the AC plugged in and falls out after that.
I also noticed that when i try to power the laptop on by holding the power button for 10 seconds that the top left power led together with the shift lock led turn on for 2 seconds and then fall out no leds blinking anymore.
Anyone knows what all this means? I'm so grateful for any help around this case since i'm a remote digital traveler and i really can use my laptop. feel free to ask any more information if something in my description is not clear enough or missing.

How to remove bios password from Compaq HP nw8440 Mobile Workstation
Hello!
I already tried disconnect bios battery, but obviosly that didn't help. Is there is any chance to do that without replacing bios chip? I need to enter bios because I suspect that someone turn off multi-core in it. Windows shows that there is only one core. Processor is Intel® Core™2 Duo T7200. Please help.
