Hi community. Today i had an unusual event with my laptop. I have a HP Envy TS 17-j023cl.
I wanted to install my Windows Recovery discs, so I went to the BIOS to activate the Legacy boot. Because this function was already activated, i didn't touch anything and I exited the menu.
The next thing that happens is that the computer don't pass the booting section. The keys don't work and the screen doesn't start. The leds that remain on, are the one from the wireless, the power on and the AC.
I tried to do a hard reset, taking everything out from it (RAM, HDD, Battery, MB Battery, AC, CD ROM) and then powering up but that didn't work.
The laptop is pretty new (around 2 months).
What do you think that could it be? How can I fix it?
The first 2 seconds of booting, the notebook seems to work properly (turns on the led of HDD, Caps and Mute). Could it be possible to flash the BIOS in this condition? My firmware is F.56.
I read that it could be unblock by pressing the power key + beats key, but i don't have the second one (although this machine comes with beats audio).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much!
