HP Pavilion Entertainment PC Laptop approximately 2009 boot black screen and cannot enter bios mode
HP Pavilion Entertainment PC laptop circa 2009 failEd to boot, black screen, or enter bios mode.
Tried resetting with battery in n out. Reseeded 2 memory cards, HDMI cabled to TV set, hitting ESC key during power up as well as F10 and Windows key with the B key. All had no effect.
LEDs over Scroll key on top and Caps lock key flashing white colored led.
DVD draw still opens. Speaker muted dumbo lit.
I am at my wits end. Any ideas or help?

locked out of bios
i am using an hp elitebook 840 g1 and i have forgotten my bios password, i have tried unpluging the CMOS battery and i left it unplugged overnight after this the laptop did say the bios had reset but i tried to get in and the password is still there....ive looked into backdoor passwords but i cant find anything for hp....i suspect the password is seperatly stored somewhere else on the motherboard....but tbh i dont wanna replace my whole dam motherboard..... i cant think of any other ways i can reset the password, tha is why i came here.. please help!

Hp presario laptop won't turn on
I have an oldish HP presario CQ62 which I can't get to turn on. The power button flashes only once but doesn't turn on or boot or anything, no fan activity either. Occasionally the power button lights up for couple of seconds, the screen is on and then gone again. I have taken out the battery and drained static, reinserted the battery and everything but still doesn't turn on. The laptop doesn't turn on on ac power either. Please help. I'm clueless as to whether it's a battery issue or is cooling fan issue.

New laptop, random blue screen crashes (IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL)-- may be in intel power driver
Laptop purchased back in March 2020, just now getting around to putting it to work.
This laptop is randomly crashing, usually with a blue screen (IRQL Not Less Or Equal). I pulled up the crash dump file and ran it through MS dev tools and it seems to think that the Intel power driver is the culprit. No updates for this driver from HP. All updates for this hardware and OS have been applied.
Thoughts?

I paid HP to repair my computer in February. They replaced the motherboard. Now, it is no longer working again. Will not power on. I have the CS Order number. I am assuming repairs are warrantied for a certain period of time?

HP Laptop keeps shutting itself down
I recently replaced the entire top cover of my laptop (top plate, keyboard, touch pad & buttons) because some of the buttons on the keyboard were not working. I successfully installed all the screws in the correct position, secured all cables & connections, and redressed all routes of cables properly. I then reinstalled the battery and booted the laptop. It now takes forever it seems for the laptop to boot up and then shortly after booting up it shuts itself down without warning. The battery is fully charged & this happens with or with out the charging/power cable attached. Does this mean the battery is bad? Did I do something wrong unknowingly?? Please help!

Hello,
My laptop will not power on at all. I tried testing all the power inputs including the charger and battery. I checked all the components to make sure there was no damage. I tried a bios reset too. The power button is ok. The only life i can see in it is the little led indicator telling you if it is done charging or not. Someone please get back to me with a solution.
