i am having trouble with a customers hp pro book 470 g0. He came to me saying it is not power on. i had a quick look and seen that when you plug in the power the power socket lights up but goes straight off. Thinking it was the power jack i replaced it and tested it before i put the laptop back together it was fine, after rebuilding it was doing the same. after a while i found out it i removed the wifi card the laptop booted fine. Has anyone ever came across this before ? The card in the laptop was a ralink rt3290 .

Always shows Disk 100% in use in task manager, Slow, lagging & automatic locked are main issues.

I bought this laptop about a year ago & haven't been able to use it peacefully for even one day. Not when I bought it and surely not now. It has always shown Disk 100% in use in task manager since day one. I bought it from amazon & since it was no hardware fault, they denied to replace it & your engineers couldn't do anything to fix this issue & I paid Rs 40000/- for an HP trash in Amazon scam sale. I waited for the first 30 days for someone to help me with this problem but no one was able to help & I got frustrated. Sure for the first 30 days, no one was there but ht minute it hits 365 days, warranty got expired. Like it was very helpful when I had that.
You guys are RIP OFF & most of all your engineers. It will be stupid of me to renew/extend warranty when you people were of no help to me in the first place when the laptop was new, what will you do now.
Thank a lot for the RIPOFF. I will remember it for the rest of my life & try my level best to keep people off from buying this crap.

HP Envy X360 Screen Frozen
I have a HP Envy X360 which I bought about year ago. I am starting to random screen getting frozen or laptop getting frozen on shutdown. Hard reboot on the power button also doesn’t work in this case. I have to wait for the battery to completely drain before I can use it again. Would appreciate if somebody help me resolve this issue.

Buongiorno,
ho un laptop Pavilion G6 di un'amica e che sto provando a fare ripartire.
All'accensione la ventola si avvia ma lo schermo resta nero; ho provato tutte le combinazioni di tasti indicati nell'assistenza ma non accade nulla.
Il disco fisso si legge: collegato come disco esterno ad altro pc mostra tutte le cartelle e non ci sono settori danneggiati.
Ho provato a riavviare il pc senza mettere il disco fisso e non mostra nemmeno il messaggio che non viene trovato il sistema operativo (windows 10).
Non si riesce ad accedere al Bios: ho provato tutti i tasti trovati nelle pagine dell'assistenza (esc, f2, f10, f12) ma non arriva la schermata di configurazione del bios.
Collegato ad un monitor esterno ma resta sempre la schermata nera.
Prima di portarlo ad un centro di assistenza, e forse cambiare la motherboard o fare controllare i cavetti, avete qualche altra soluzione?

Unable to boot from hard drive, boot device but found
I was trying to perform a factory reset using HP Recovery Manager on my laptop since the regular method in the Windows 10 settings had been failing me, always starting and stopping at about 6% to undo changes informing me there was something wrong.
I finally found and opened HP Recovery Manager and began to try to reset my device that way without backing up anything at all for a completely wiped drive. However, right after I clicked for it to start it stopped and said there was an error. It read that it failed and read error Oxefffff23 I believe. And after I clicked cancel it brought me to the familiar screen of "Boot Device Not Found" and "Hard Disk (3F0)".
I've tried troubleshooting and I've run a quick test and my hard drive passed the tests, I've opened my BIOS and made sure legacy boot was off and I made sure my boot source priorities order was correct. I don't know what else to try or how to fix this and need help.

Locked out by bios password
I forgot the BIOS password I set on my laptop. It says system disabled with code `i 96451122`.
How do I reset it. I got my data from the hard drive but I still need that PC. Tried reinserting CMOS.
Then it displays a CMOS checksum invalid and says that the CMOS will reset to default config. Upon restart it again asks for password. Please help!!

HP Spectre hIgh end Lap Top frequently freezing with blue screen error. Anyone with similar problems. First the hard disk crashed ( less than 2 years old home use lap top ) Changed the SSD hard disk . Still facing blue screen error all the time. Hardware parameters showing ok in all diagnostic checks. I have switched off the latest Windows update as well as I read that was causing BSOD on many Laptops and PC´s. Can someone suggest how to fix this pls?

Unable to wake laptop from sleep mode
Hello!
I'm currently facing issues trying to wake up my laptop after it enters the sleep mode, where neither pressing the keyboard, clicking the mousepad/mouse nor pressing the power button once wakes the laptop. I've already tried the steps provided by the following link, but to no avail.
I am, however, stuck at the step "Enable the keyboard to wake up the computer". When I access Device Manager > Keyboards > Change Settings, the "Change Settings" button is greyed out and I am unable to click on it.
Would anyone be able to provide some answers for changing the settings, or the issue in general?
