Hi everyone, I've got another issue, I've just had to change my battery in my Hp laptop, now ours been changed its showing that that battery indicator is fully charged but as soon as I take the charger out the laptop goes of. I'm also having an issue with something else as I can't factory reset the laptop due to an issue with the short drive. If anyone knows or has had these issues themselves and fixed it please let me know before I end up jumping all over my laptop. Thanks

Hi
I have a HP Folio 1040 G1 that I have used for the last 4 years. I haven't experienced any issues with it although I have noted that the battery doesn't last long as it used to. Last night I used it normally and switched it off at around 11.30pm. However, when I tried to turn it on today at 2pm by pressing the power button it didn't turn on. The power indicator doesn't even brink or show any light even after putting the charger. I tried holding the power button for 30 second but nothing seems to work. What could be the issue? Is there a remedy?

HP notebook blue screen asking Adm password
Hi, my HP notebook started showing blue screen and asking to “enter administrator password or Power on password”. I haven’t set it up so I don’t know it. Without this computer dosen’t start. Tried to restart, power off, take out batteries, wait etc, nothing worked. I hit enter 3 times and got message “system disabled” [i 84908673].
I have googled about it and found website for bios recovery. They gave me to enter code: 31660275 , but it didn’t work. Could you please help? Thank you in advance.

HP Stream Laptop Not booting (HARD DISK 3F0)
HP Stream 11 GS will not boot. Get error "Boot Device Not found"
After pressing F2 for to get to the PC Hardwar diagnostics UEFI I run a extensive storage check.
the check returns to the menu very quickly as to not have done anything.
Both Quick and Extensive storage checks do this.
Is this a case where I need a new HDD device and reinstall windows 10 and if so. what would be the correct procedure to do this?

mirrored SSD not recognized/booting
I've mirrored my HDD to a samsung Evo SSD.
Replaced the HDD with the SSD
System won't boot, recognize the SSD disk.
I switch back to the HDD and no propblem, it boots.
Can anyone help please?
Is it incompatible for some reason? BIOS would maybe not accept SSDs!?? Could that be? My father's 10 year older basic HP accepted an SSD without a glitch.
PS: I have update the bios driver to latest for my PC according to the HP support assistant.

Is HP a good brand for laptops????
I am eligible to answer this question since I used this laptop for one and half year.
I brought the HP model hp pavilion 15-au114tx 15.6 inch , i5 , 8 gigs ram and 4 gigs graphic card priced at around ₹65,000(910$). For the same price I could opt for some cheaper models like Acer or Asus something like that. It was fine for the first six months but then the hinges began to crack due to poor manufacturing and the battery for this price was builtin which again is a cons if you face any battery problem. I study in a college where most people use laptops. Few of my friends who brought the same edition suffered from the same hinge problem as mine. Though it is just slightly compact as compared to dell I feel dell is quite strong in its body and atleast better when compared to this. The screen of this bloody laptop vibrates when I switch on the fan. Just coz this is a flop model hp even stopped manufacturing it and now ever the slightest repair costs us extra charges for getting repair parts from hell. I don't know why such huge companies experiment on people for their **bleep**. The money which I spent is no less and I think if it's life time is less than the one like Asus or pretty cheap companies better go for them. Check apple, atleast they have a very fine and well tested furbished model which is good though pricy. HP coustomer care services are even worse I am telling you trust me better go for something which prioritises customer satisfaction.
If you feel I am just bleeping about this company , just ask by yourself to the people who use HP wether they would go by HP laptop again?
Just go with the one which is well tested before spending a lot of bucks!
