I have a HP laptop with beatsaudio with a touchscreen. I need help recovering the password for it. My dad and me haven’t used it in over 3-5 years. My dad stored it in his room and now he dug it back up. Now he wants to use it again to recover some old photos but we don’t remember what password we had on it. We’ve tried multiple password possibilities and nothing. Is there any program or place i can take it to change the password or unlock it somehow?

BIOS administrator password
I was locked out of all of my accounts, so I performed a system recovery, and reinstalled Windows 10. I have access to my computer again, but now my BIOS has an Administrative password I did not set. Is there any way to reset or bypass the password without sending my laptop in for $300?

Laptop not turning on
I have a dv6 that was working fine now all of the sudden it will not power on. I have tries the hard reset. If I remove the battery and plug it it the white AC indicator ring will blink 1 time and then remain lit. No other lights function.
If I plug the battery in first and then plug in the adapter the white AC light remains solid white the charging symbol light will blink 4 times and then no other lights. No power indicator at all. Please help

Boot Device Not Found (notebook: pavilion 15-bc012tx)
I am using Hp pavilion 15-bc012tx notebook pc.
When I turn on the machine a black screen is loaded saying the following
Boot Device not Found
Please install an operating system on your harddisk
Hard Disk (3FO)
I did the quick test of the hard disk and the memory
all are pass.
Smart Check and Short DST : passed
But the problem of Boot Device not Found still exist.
Any help would br appreciated . Thanks in advance.

Windows failed to load because system registry file is missing or corrupt
Hey I need some help with this problem I'm having booting up my pavilion g6 but everytime I try to start it it will say windows failed to load because the system registry file is missing or has been corrupt. Status:(0xc00000e9). I looked more into and it tells me to put my disc from my windows 7 to reinstall and fix the problem but the problem is that this computer didn't come with a windows 7 disc it came installed already by HP when bought new if someone could help me out with this problem that would be awesome

Hello community.
My girlfriends laptop is a memory hog, and also possibly riddle with a virus(starting to doubt it) so to try and fix the situation the free way, I decided to delete some folders in the :c drive. According to the reset command settings, we needed about 5gb of free space to "fresh start the computer clean". After a few hours of clicking I only need about 999 mb to reset. But I figured to restart the system thinking itll refresh what I've done.. it is in a state of shook. Lol so powering on it tries to automatic reset or something then self diagnose and wont go anywhere else from there. What should I do besides losing hope for the pc?

cannot roll back bios.Signature error HP Stream 14-z010nr
I made the mistake of updating the bios in my Stream 14. What should have been a simple HP approved update turned into a problem.
It no longer charges.
3 replacement batteries later, it still won't charge. I can power the laptop by the ac adapter with no issues.
what should be a very simple troubleshooting step / test is, undo what caused the problem ...
roll back the bios and see if it charges. Well, the bioses posted as previous on the HP download site will not allow a rollback.
All I get are "signature errors" when using the two previous bios'es listed in the downloads section. The signatures are present in the bios folder I created on a usb stick from another computer.
Downgrade fails either through the windows utility , or the HP Hardware Diagnostics from boot.
The only thing the utility allows me to do is reinstall the newest bios, which doesn't help.
I tried sp77755 and sp70417. Apparently the 2 older bios'es hp lists do not have valid signatures. That's a huge problem.
Can anyone tell me how to downgrade the bios? Is there a bios out there that will allow me to downgrade that actually has a valid signature? This is quite a mistake on the part of HP.

Laptop go to herbinate suddely and loos battery from 100% to 10% while it's plugged in
I bought this laptop about 3 months ago (New), before few days while the laptop is plugged in (on AC power) and the battery charge is 100%, suddenly it's hibernate and after I started it from hibernating I noticed the battery charge dropped to 10% while it's plugged in!
This issue happened to my laptop 2 times.
I don't know if this is a known issue in this laptop? because before I bought this on I ordered the same laptop from amazon and this exact issue happened! I returned it and order another one (the same brand and model and specification) from Walmart. I shocked when the same problem occurs!
