Blue screen upon turning computer on with unending repair loop
One of my older computers using Windows 8.1 had been unable to start for many weeks.
1. Upon turning the computer on, there was a blue scren with the message:
"Your PC runs into a problem and needs to restart.
We're just collecting some data info, and then we'll restart for you"
and below:
"If you like to know more, you can search online later for this error UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME".
2. Then the screen shows:
"Preparing automatic repair"
3. Then the screen:
"Diagnosing your PC"
4. And finally, the screen:
"Repairng disk errors. This might take over an hour to complete"
It did not take that long. After perhaps 4-5 minutes, it would simply go back to No. 1 above with the blue screen and the loop just continues for ever.
I shall be grateful if someone would enlighten me on the problem. Is my computer repairable? If it is not, then are the data there recoverable?

BIOS Password Issue
This is a customers computer. She bought it in saying that it is asking for a password. Hit enter 3 times @ BIOS pass screen and getting this - System Disabled [i 66261990] Any input on this would be appreciated.

HP zBook 15 G3 won't boot up
Battery ran out and laptop shut down. Plugged in power supply, won't boot up. Tried holding down for 15 seconds or longer, still no boot up. This model does not have a removable battery. Help!

Changing the BIOS settings to boot from SSD, Envy x360 15z
"Clone your HD to the SSD > Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Advanced Start Up > Restart Now > Choose Device (HD's might not be labeled, it will be the second option under the main one preselected) > Start up off SSD > Wipe and format your original HD (Might have to use a third party as Disk Management may not allow a total wipe) > Restart Computer."
There is no option on my comptuer after restart now... to choose device. I am running the latest version of windows 10 v.1803. please help!! have my Hhd cloned (exact copy made on reflect, checked the files to be sure) just can't get it to boot from new SSD. HP Bios sucks never have had this much trouble.

Forgot Bios Password
Hello, i forgot my Bios password. When i startup the laptop , i press F10. He ask me the password en after i fill 2 times the password (i used to know) it says 'Locked' and reboot.
How can i reset that password, because i don't remember it

Laptop will not turn on. caps lock LED blinks 2 times confirms a corrupted BIOS BUT will not reset
The laptop tries to power up but only a fan is heard. The Caps lock LED blinks twice and confirms that the BIOS is corrupted. I have obtained a Flash drive with a BIOS downloaded and attempted to boot laptop via Power key and Win + b keys but still comes back to initial 2 LED lights on Caps lock.

HP probook 4540s wont start
Hi,
I have a problem with start notebook 4540s. When i power up, notebook wont start it. It just blink 5 times caps-clock and then fan starts running. Bios doesnt work neither. Is it motherboard erro? I try remove memory, hard reset, power up with/without battery. Nothing helps. But sometimes notebooj start it normally. Its really strange. Somebody have any idea how can I fix it?

I've also got an Hard Disk Failure ID which is totoally different to this one but if I'm to understand you correctly, the only way to find out EXC ACTLY what that code means/says is to ring HP, and if one is out of warrenty, it's going to cost? I will assume it's not cheap either? If 99/100 times it means 'disk failure - replace' is there any point in anyone ringing HP???
