Continuous beep sound on start-up and keyboard inactive
i allowed Windows Assist to make some changes and after that experienced following problems -
1. Display became black
2. Continuous beep sound
3. Keyboard is inactive
Tried to resolve the problem by making some changes in the settings of "sticky keys". Has'nt helped.

HP Pavilion x360 Bios reboot doesn't work
Hi.
The laptop doesn't have a working battery (it's a moulded case so no easy switch) and it gives off the blinking from caps lock that there is a bios error.
The bios reboot to the EFI partition (win key plus b and press power) doesn't work.
The screen is completely black and it gives off a loud beep when showing the bios error.
power led and the HDD led blinks.

My laptop won't turn on

Please install an operating system on your hard disk. Next line hard disk. (3F0) . I tested in F2 to find memory test on but the storage test failed. I opened this notebook to find all connections tested on. Pavilion laptop
Last night my laptop updated and now when it's starts to load the opening screen with the hp logo pops up and the white circle spins bellow it, but that's all it does. I've tried doing a hard reset even reseting it to factory settings. Sadly my laptop just went out of warranty a little more then a month ago.

HP Pavilion dv6810us Entertainment Notebook PC will not power on
When i turn on my HP Pavilion dv6810us the quick play leds (Stop, Play, FF, etc) blink once and then go out and the computers does nothing. When plugged in and battery is in the battery charge light is lit. I THINK the OS is Vista but cannot verify because system does not power up. All tests run with all peripherials removed and nothing but the laptop.
I have tried to remove the battery and power and hold start button for 30 seconds - nothing

z800 not posting
I have a z800 and a adapter for the powersupply . the memory polarity was inserted backwards at first - new memory was installed [ no snoke btw ] and the fans crank up and I am using a good older version graphica card [nvidia] but I get no post just fans and ethernet blinking . its a 002 version . any ideas . ythe ps and video are the only things I can check it has a 4 core in it now to be replaced by 2 hexes

Old laptop won't boot
Alright. Firstly, this HP laptop is around 7-8 years old. We purchased this potato at Staples for around $100. It's a merical this thing survived as long as it did.
It came with Windows 7 64 bit when we purchased it. Recently, I upgraded it to Windows 10. But ever since then I've had issues with booting.
Before, when I go to boot the laptop, while plugged into the wall, the screen would stay off, and my NumLock and caps lock key would flash. I would have to run the laptop off the battery to boot into Windows, then mess with my power options before I can do anything.
Now, even with my laptop unplugged, it won't boot. I have tried contacting Microsoft, they didn't know what was wrong, and told me to contact HP.
If you need any information, such as a video example, specs, or anything, please let me know.

HP Pavilion Notebook 64% Reset Loop
So I need some help. I got my HP laptop about a few months ago and I have a weird OCD thing that I like to reset my computers every few months since I get so many files and it just makes my laptops lag. Anyways I decided to reset it like normal and I did that like usual and then after it got done resetting my PC it came up with "Something went wrong please reset PC" loop so I looked that up and was able to find that I had to type in "regedit" changed something to 3 like it said and then I was out of that loop. Now, I'm stuck in a loop that goes HP loading screen>black loading screen> HP loading screen "Preparing"> Installing Windows but it's stuck at 64%> then resets itself and starts that same loop again.
I feel like I've tried everything.
• I've waited it out for 5 hours
•Looked it up and have tried what everyone's recommended
•And waited again for a day
Can someone please help me with this because I don't want to spend money to take it in or have to get a new computer. (P.S I don't have any CD'a because I store everything in the box my computer came with and there's no disc's to be found)

Windows login password
Somebody decided that they were going to steal my laptop and try to upgrade program from Windows 7 to some kind of vers.of 8 and set the laptop up under their name and email acct.Now I can't get back in the computer and the individual took my reinstall CD and password reset disk,which I was unable to recover.How can I reset device back to its original state without disk?

Probook 4520s: unresponsive except regularly blinking LEDs
A HP probook 4520s does suddenly not react anymore to pressing the power button.
It had been used without a battery and it was working well until a few days ago. It was connected to a power adapter, which is not faulty, because it still works with another HP laptop.
Now when the power cable is plugged in, both the white LEDs of the power jack and of the power button and also the orange LED of the Ethernet interface blink simulataniously and regularly.
The three LEDs are on for about 5 seconds, then off for a fraction of a second, then again on for about 5 seconds and so on. Nothing happens except the blinking LEDs.
I have already tried the hard reset.
What parts do I need to replace, the power jack, or the power button or both? Or is there anything else I can try, which does not require a battery?
