Worked last night, no problem, couple yrs old, mom was mom's, shutdown last night, won't turn on tod
Mom gave me her hp laptop because she doesn't use it anymore. I was using it last night, downloaded a couple games and Skype. All worked well. Did it down, went to turn it on this morning and nothing. Tried hard reset and nothing. Took the battery out and tried AC adapter, nothing.
All I know is that it is a hp and a couple years old.

PC hangs/freeze occasionally & on reboot show blank screen
sir,
my PC occasionally gets complete hangs/freeze (even button CAPSLOCK & Radion button not turned off/on ). so I had to PC off by hard pressiong power button. when I restart it, It appear with a complete blank screen (as there is no power in screen). so how to evolve with this situation.

Dv7 wont start and caps lock blinking at constant rate
I disassembled my dv7 to clean out the cooler and i got everything back together and now all i get when i press the power button is a black screen, working fan, flashing caps lock button, and an amber f12 key.
I tried to hard reset (take out the battery, hold down the power button, etc) but that didnt work. I've tried to reseat the ram and reconfigure the modules in different combinations but to no avail. Ive tried to boot without a hdd but nothing different happened. Ive also tried to reseat the cpu but still nothing new happened. I also tried to reflow my motherboard with an oven (twice)! But again, to no avail

System not starting

BIOS Problem "IHISI not support current BIOS."
Okay, so I got the laptop from my aunt and she gave it to me broken, not booting up. So I wanna upgrade/downgrade the BIOS and probably will help with the issue. It booted yesterday, but it didn't today. I followed the instructions in this document at Recovering the notebook BIOS using an external device. I currently have a blank non-bootable USB, and whenever I extract the BIOS there, I get "Error IHIS! not support current BIOS" followed with "BIOS did not support InsydeFlash"
May anyone please help me to finally fix this devil. Any help would be appreciated.

I have HP 430 with problem blank screen. All is normally, i can hear windows log on sound. I've also connected on external monitor then press fn+f4 but external monitor or lcd remain blank. I just replaced with new one motherbord but nothing help too. I've tried hard reset hold power button 15sec without bateray and power adapter, nothing help. Reseat memory, reset bios all nothing help.
any advice?
