Hello
i have a hp dv6500 (which actually on top of the monitor says its a dv6000 and on the sticker below the laptop is a dv6640el so which one is it the right im not sure) with this problem: monitor goes blank when windows is starting.
Plugged with an external monitor it will work but unplugged the VGA is not working anymore.
If i disable the Video Card NVIDIA and i restart, then it will work but the resolution of the monitor is low of course and i cant use the stand by mode since i guess not being a video card activate im not allowed to use.
Things i've done so far:
1)unistalling and restalling video card
2)updating video card
3)updating BIOS and roll back to original setup
4)restore system (i did it yesterday it worked, but now im having the same problem
5)on safe mode the monitor is working
Now, i've read all other posts about blank screen and i tried all of the solution but none worked for me.
Now the strange problems cited in the title, it has happned that soemtimes, without doing anything and just leaving the laptop on with its blank screen, after 2 hours magically the monitor works again ( to not work again after restarting or a standy by).
It has happned one time only also that if i log in with one account (i have 2 account on this laptop) will work, to not work instead if i log in with the other one)
i dont know what else i can do.
Can please someone help me?
