This morning I recently did the major update for my Pavilion G6 notebook that put windows 8 on my laptop. I was not asked to do this (Like with all updates) and forced, I did not have time to completely update it so I had to bring it into the car with me, putting it in offline mode. It updated and all those things, but I recieved some sort of error message that I can't remember, but Windows 8 was now on my laptop. My laptop then died of power loss, and when I returned home to plug it in. When it was charged, I unplugged it and entered my car once again, this time I turned on my laptop.
When I turned my laptop things were not right. First thing I noticed, the volume was not working (Not the only problem, please keep reading) then when I tried to turn the volume on with they keyboard it wouldn't work, so I tried to manually adjust at the desktop. Didn't work either. The strangest thing that happened after that, and what keeps happening is that the laptop begins to jump back and fourth between the desktop and this green blank screen, I can't adjust the volume, and when this happens youcan't access anything in the lower part of the screen in the dock-like section, you know the part with battery, volume, internet explorer, ect?
Anyway, I tried scanning for Viruses but Webroot detected none, I can use the internet on the laptop (Which I'm on right now) but I can see the screen flashing back and fourth between the desktop and green screen, but the window remains open, which is how I can type this.
I know this is long but I tried to get as detailed as I could. If anyone knows what the problem is I would be extremely grateful to know. Thank you for your time.
