my hp pavilion is running slow ~_~"

I recently bought a hp pavilion ... it runs windows 8 .. I haven't use it alot .. maybe like 10 to 15 times only ... but now it hangs & freezes alot , the Wireless connections is always limited and i can't fix that ,and when i open any app i can't close it any more ..even using the task manager , it also takes alo ot time to open any program..

I even used the troubleshoot but it didn't detect any problems ..

Now i consider doing a system recovery ,, is that what should i do??

Or there is some thing easier ?? 

And would the recovery affect the programs i installed ?? -cause it cost me some pucks to have the original-
