Hi, our Pavilion G6 laptop starts OK but only gets as far as the desktop picture complete with all the ikons on the left, and the pretty picture of a thistle and a bee. But there is no cursor/ pointy thing in sight.
In addition shortly before we had this problem I found that I could'nt make the (@) key work when I was trying to enter an email address, I dsoubt that this is relevant.
As we have another pc that the Pavilion replaced and I am using to send this message,its a bit like going backwards.
Please, if you know of a solution, explain it in great detail, we are in our later years and all technical words are just letters on a page with no meaning to us. (for instance I had to look up the words desktop and ikons).
