My G72 gets just the the splash screen with the circular HP logo.
At the bottom left-hand corner are the words, "Press the ESC key for Startup Menu".
It stay on that screen for about two seconds and the computer shuts down, then starts back up again.
I have run the internal diagnostic software and it didn't find anything wrong.
Any ideas?
