I need some assistance or advice from those who have more experience or greater knowledge in this area. I am working on an HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook pc. Product # is LW181UA#ABA. It has a 2 gig Hz Intel i7 CPU, 8 gig of memory (2 4 gig mem modules), a Hitachi 750 gigbyte HD. It has run and passed the memory tests, burn in tests, Hard Disk Drive tests and startup tests that are run by pushing F2 while powering up. When you get to the O/S boot screen. It has Windows 7 64 bit version of O/S. It starts to show the slide bar graph at the bottom of screen showing the loading % and then freezes and emits a constant beeeping. If I try to go to the repair options or recovery selections, it does the same thing. To me, I don't see how I can have a hardware problem since it seems to pass memory, disk, and start up diagnostics? Only thing the owner told me was they had spilled a glass of water or soda on to the notebook. I expected the pc to be dead or have a power supply problem but not the case. Any assistance to this problem would be greatly appreciated since I am not sure where to go from here. Also, I am using an external keyboard.
