I have been using my WWAN for 2 years without any problem until yesterday. Besides having WiFi, my notebook also has an HP mobile broadband card. Yesterday I was not able to connect via the mobile broadband no matter how many times I tried. I got an error message "An error occurred while attempting to establish a connection. A connection to the remote network could not be established. Your authentication settings in the current profile may be invalid." I tried to connect using the mobile broadband in two different cities yesterday without success. I tried the instructions at http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01887303&tmp_task=solveCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=5051888#N797
The dialog box on my computer only indicated Internet Protocol Version 4, not the Internet Protocol Version 6 refered to in the above support document. I also double checked my account with the broadband ISP; it is up-to-date and should be functioning properly.
Clearly I'm missing the boat here. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
