Hi I have been using this notebook PC for a long time and never had an issue. In the last 2 weeks I am not able to use it at all.
It freezes after rebooting within minutes. I have tried safe mode same issue. I have no backup and would like to save the the data somehow. The window between the startup and freeze is so small that I am not able to to copy files etc.
I have disabled all startup programs from safe mode. Done some virus scans. Hard drive test which I can not complete any more. DST had failed.
Was getting this error when trying to do system recovery - Error - 0x800700b7. Was able to fix the error but not able to do a system restore.
I was installing some windows defintions. This started happening around May 5, 2014. First saw the blue screen of death. Tried to attempt system restores which was not successful but was able to boot up the machine for a few minutes before it hangs/ freezes.
Have tried hard reset/ attampted to use without battery same problem.
While testing the Hard disk from BIOS computer froze at 97% completion..
Please help as I do not have a backup of my data and need the data...
