I wanted to restore factory settings to remove w8.1 and get it back to w7.
Then I got a message saying my laptop was running on battery power, and that I should connect it to a power source.
Yet... it was plugged in alright.
So I shut it down, disconnected the power, got the battery out, connected it to the power and... nothing. It wouldn't turn on. So I figured the adapter must be broken.
What made me doubt that, is that when connected to a power source, the light next to the power jack turns on. Plus, it does charge my battery.
Anyway, my question is: is the adapter broken or is there something wrong with the power jack or even something else? Before I get a new adapter or get an expensive repair/check that's not needed...
