HP pavillion g6 black screen and freezes due to network adapter

I have a HP pavillion g6 Notebook PC

OS: Windows 7

My laptop freezes on startup sometimes if I do not choose which mode to enter within 3 seconds.

My network adapter seems to disconnect itself and sometimes freezes or black screens after this.

Black screens and freezes are also encountered after troubleshooting my networks or enabling my 'wireless network connection' which gets disabled randomly?

Could the problem be due to my network adapter or something which randomly disconnects?

I have a broadcom 4313 GN 802.11 b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi Adapter

Solutions I have tried (and did not work):

Renewing the DNS

Renewing the IP

Installing new drivers or updating

Checking the actual hardware if it's inserted properly

Unchecking power saving setting for the adapter

I cannot update the bios or adapter any further

System restore

Changing router settings

I have tested if it is overheating and it is not

Checked if it's a virus and it's not

Cleaned registry

During the freeze, I can close my laptop lid and re-open it to make it work again, however black screens or freezes at the the startup requires me holding down the power button because they are unresponsive.

I have not received any error messages.

When making skype calls or playing online games, the adapter disconnects and this is normally followed by a freeze/black screen. This may also occur when opening too many programs? My connection is also disconnected randomly even without games or too many programs.

Going back one week, my laptop started acting up, being unable to connect to the router, which I had thought was just the router acting up. Then I had got a new router and I had thought things were fixed. However it is not a problem with the router as my laptop itself freezes also.  To prove this, I have wired up my laptop to the router directly but my connection after a while, disconnects.

During the disconnection, my network is the only available one that I can see and it says 'limited access' however I know that the adapter is not working even though it still indicates it is in the device manager.

I have another broadcom 4313 GN 802.11 b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi Adapter which I will replace with mine to see if mine is at fault, however even if the adapter itself is faulty then why does it black screen/freeze?

Thank you for any help and I will answer any questions needed.
