Hi, I just got a new HP laptop (which already had Windows 8) a few days ago and everything was working great. And when I bought it, the salesman told me not to use the battery if it's plugged in the charger, so I've always used it without the battery in whenever it was plugged.
Then today when I turned my laptop on, it said it was configuring windows (12% done) and also told me not to shut it down. So, since I thought this would take some time, I decided to move my laptop so I can I have space for my book, and as I grabbed it, I touched the plug and it came out and it shut down. So, I turned it back on after I plugged it in and underneath the HP startup logo it said it was preparing an automatic repair and then it was it was diagnosing the laptop. Few seconds after, the screened turned blue and said the repair failed and told me to either shut it down or use advanced options. So I shut it down and restarted it but same thing happened. Afterwards, I decided to go use the advanced options; I clicked continue with windows 8 but it repeated the turn on phase, and I tried both refreshing and restarting the system to default but it said there was a problem.
So after that, I searched up want to do but all those methods didn't work.
Lastly, I tried turning it on with the battery in but still the same result.
So could someone please tell me what to do to resolve this issue.
Thank you.
