My son cracked the screen but it still worked for about a month and then would not start up. The caps key was blinking 3 times so I removed the ram and reinstalled it (like it said on the HP site.) When I pushed the power button I could hear it start up but the screen was still off and the caps key was still blinking 3 times. I walked away to do something and when I came back the screen came on. It took about 7-8 minutes for this to happen. I shut it down and when I tried to start it up again it would not turn on. No fan, no screen, no lights, NO NOTHING!
THe cord is fine and it charged the battery. The machine will not run on the cord or the battery.
