hp x64" pavilions notebook wont turn on
my hp 14-pavillion notebook just blinked off and wont power back up, no lights nothing less than 4 months old . I was watching video and it blinked and now nothinbg what so ever please help. I use it alot and its very vital to my every day operastions.

Hello, I have a compaq 325 laptop.
Since yesterday, when i try to start it, the fan just start spinning but stops immediately, the start button light remains bright, the screen doesn't show anything and the caps-lock button light flashes 5 times indicating there is a generic motherboard issue.
Can anyone help me identifying the problem?

Bios update for retired computers
Hello,
I have read through the forum but haven't found a proper answer.
I was wonderring, after a product is declared retired, is there any way to download unique files that can't be found elsewhere on the internet, in this case BIOS files.
I was looking for the last working BIOS for a Pavilion ZV6152 that I bought cheap and I would like to update it to the latest BIOS. Everything else can be found or worked around somehow.

my hp notebook 2000 is not starting but caps lock is blinking steadly
let me start from initials ...
i have a hp notebook 2000 from 5 years , there was everything good until i used a data recovery software. When i was using the software to recover some data i stopped the file searching in mid, THATS WHERE MY BAD LUCK CATCHED ME
after some time i stopped rec. soft. from task manager but when i tried to use it again there was some red lines showing me that there are some bad sectors in my disk . i tried to reboot but it stucked on bios saying hard drive is inaccesible i bought a new drive shopkeeper said me your lappy heats up too much so put it on a service i said ok i after cleaning my laptop i installed fresh window 7 os in it after 1 day screen of laptop sudden goes white and it was completely off i tried to turn it on but only power on led was blinking i unplugged battery and kept it for two days after two days i plugged battery and tried to start ,, it was started but for only 5 min.
now alomst after 5 days its caps lock is blinking , shopkeeper said me keep it in front of sun for 1 day it wil start but i am in darkness plz sir or friendz help me asap

hp pavilion 15-n297sa will not start
Hi. My hp pavilion 15-n297sa will not start at all. Previously everything had worked fine having bought the laptop only a couple of years ago. However, I didn't use it for around 3 months and when I came back it would not start at all. There is no response at all when I press the power button from the laptop. I have searched through websites and forums and have tried removing the battery to perform hard resets multiple times but still nothing. Would be very grateful if someone could please help.

WiGig enable
I have a problem with the WiGig not enabling on first boot to connect with my WiGig dock. I believe it may be something with the boot process not enabling WiGig. After the initial boot, I restart and everything works fine. Not very limiting but still annoying. I have searched extensively and found nothing. Any ideas?

Pavillion G6 2229tu won't boot,giving LED code
Well I have a hp pavilion G6 2229tu , it's showing the same 1 blink LED code , and the towel trick works but the problem is it has a i5 3rd gen processor and gpu in embedded in the cpu chip itself , and there is no dedicated graphics , which I think means there is no seperate gpu chip on motherboard . So why does that towel trick work for my laptop ? Does it work in case of excessive dust ?? I can't open the laptop worrying I won't be able to reassemble it .. Can anyone help ?

err 0xc000009 after changing the ram

After replacing the RAM of 2 x 2GB (DDR3, 1333MHz, SODIMM, PC3 - 10600) for a 4GB (DDR3, 1333MHz, SODIMM, PC3 - 10600) the notebook does not turn on, a blue screen saying it's the error: 0xC00000E9. The BIOS detects the new memory, but the notebook does not turn on.
In specifying the notebook says he accepts up to 8GB. If I go back old memories the notebook works perfectly.
