Hello guys, quick question after recent critical update from Microsoft my Split X2 refused to boot into Windows 10
and stuck into booting loop with Bad System Config Info. I have tried Windows recovery - no luck. Unfortunatelly I don't have system disk, maybie someone could help me with recovery disk ? I'm open for any other suggestions / tips & trics

I get a blue screen on sign in when the laptop has been in hibernation , it indicates USB driver error and the debug file points to the Intel USB 3.0 file iusb3xhc.sys.
Any idea how to fix this please?
Got this HP from a customer. Computer is unbootable and nornally just powers up and suts there with a black back lit screen. Once in awhile it will show the error 502 "The CMOS checksum is invalid. The CMOS wil be reset to the default configuration and will be rebooted. Please check your bios settings to see if theyve changed". I changed the CMOS battery and nothing. If I hit F10 right away I can get into the BIOS menu. At this point I can only assume that the BIOS has been corrupted. The computer was only weeks old when this happened. I repair PCs in a small town and am constantly getting HP laptops..............Anyway, I need to make a BIOS recovery USB. The website isnt showing any BIOS download for this model and even If I can get it downloaded the explanation of what files need to be placed on the USB is muddy at best. Lets get it together HP. Any help would be appreciated

Brand new computer, bought two days ago, plugged in and bettery never charged. starts to charge for about 15 sec and the stops. battery level says 6%. will not stay on without being plugged in.
Hi, i have a Presario CQ61 laptop and i cant change the boot up sequence in Bios. When i do get into bios i cant get the arrows to move up or down,the arrows seem to be 'stuck' which means i cant change it to boot/start from a usb stick or dvd/cd drive. I have tried pressing other buttons on the keyboard but it still doesnt work.Saying that though i can still move the cursor/arrows left or right,Thx
I have been trying to register my laptop and it freezes up at the Register and Protect page! Since this is a new laptop that I am trying to set up for use, I reset the computer when it happened the first time thinking I could get past it and actually USE my computer. Well, here I sit with the stupid "Register and Protect" page frozen in front of me again and can go no further! I can't even get to the control panel or anything actually IN my computer that may help me! I see that this may be a recurring issue because there have been several other posts about the same thing, but no replies as to how to fix it! Please, please, please....someone help me!!!

i just bought an Used HP Elitebook 2740p it was working fine for one week until i unfortunately decided to perform a Driver upgrade including the BIOS
Some weird stuff start to happen after i performed the BIOS Upgrade for example :
*At first i couldn't boot to Windows at all and always show me INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE error
*The boot option menu is empty and i can't boot to any other device in case if i want to install a new OS
So i improvised in order to fix the problem, First i reinstalled the battery and then restored the Bios sittings to default.. Guess what.. It WORKED!!! 😀
Unfortunately a whole bunch of new issues popped up 😔
* The laptop restart 2-3 times before i can actually log in to Windows
* The boot option menu still empty
* The screen blinking before and after log in to Windows
* It takes long time to boot even that i have a very good specs [Core i5, 8GB Ram]
* Mouse pad is not working in fact every time i touches it the pointer just disappear
Thats what i noticed so far.. I will attach a photo for my system information in email if u want
Troubleshooting steps taken:
* Reintalling the Battary a few times allow my laptop to log in to OS
* Mouse Pad now working after i reinstall the driver
* No more restarts after i shutdown the laptop for a few times
[not sure if it will not come back though]
* i still have problem with the screen blinking and the boot option menu
[[i have some photos and a video here that well help u to understand the issue]]
Please if there are any solution or explanation for this issue i will be so glad to hear it

My laptop screen keeps flickering for like 4-5 minutes when ever i wake my laptop from sleep and on startup it stays on a blue screen for 7-8 minutes before going to login screen. how to i fix this? Please help.
I have a hp pavilion G6 and since yesterday I am been unable to reboot or startup my laptop. I tried unplugging everything, taking out the battery and pressing the power button for 15-20 seconds and then reconnecting the AC power chsarger and the battery to no effect. All that happens iod on my monitor it only shows the HP letters and that is as far as it goes then stops and tried to reboot and stops so on and so on.
This sounds like a hard drive isssue do you agree and if so do you agree I should try getting a new harddrive and installing that.
Any help would be appreciated.

I normally put my laptop to "Sleep" instead of shutting it down. This morning, when I turned the laptop on, I had the log in screen, but everything was frozen; the cursor wouldn't move and the keyboard was not working. I held the power button on until the laptop was shut down. But, when I turned it back on, the screen would not come back on. The lights blink but nothing happens.
I removed the battery and the charger, held the power button down for a minute, put the battery back on, plugged in the charger, turned the laptop on, but no screen! I did this several times but didn't have any luck.the hard drive light keeps blinking, the fan spinning, and the wireless and Num Lk keys toggle on/off. Even the reading light on top of the screen is working.
Any help would be appreciated.

the laptop is about 2.5 years old - has been working well.
now does not start since the last 5 days - the wi-fi on light glows red and the caps lock indicator keeps on flashing .
have to press the power on key off and on 15 to 20 times and on one of these presses i am lucky and the unit boots.
have tried removing the battery , and then pressing the power key.
nothing seems to be working.
need help...

When I turn on my PC, the message "Unmountable Boot Volume" flashes on the screen before it attempts a repair that never finishes.
I do not have bootable back up media. I do have most of my data backed up.

Hello everyone,
I have a HP 15 Touchsmart. This started happening to me yesterday in the afternoon. My laptop will shut off at around 27% battery life. The low battery message does not come on till around 15% battery life, but regardless no low battery warning message appears.
After it shuts off it will not turn on unless the charge is plugged into it.
Has anyone experienced this before?? Any feedback or advice will be greatly appreciated.
