So this laptop is brand new only like 3 months old and i have had it freeze and then crash like 6 times and now screen will flicker black for less then a second sometimes...now i have done a few things to it for 1 i put in another 4gb ram stick and did upgrade graphics card driver also have done a fresh install of windows already but it is a little odd cause it never did any of this until after i put another 4gb stick in and upgraded video card driver but i don't really know what to think.its a APU A-8 5550M quad-core with radeon HD 8550G integrated graphics 8gb of ram....and when i bought the ram i made sure it was the same brand same voltage same frequency any way i already ran a memory test 4 times and came back with no errors...but i was also thinking it could be the graphics driver but i always get the latest one from AMDs page oh and its definitely not from overheating cause i make sure my laptops stay cool...and i only start seeing this problem if the computer has been running for a few hours. So i decided to switch the ram around in different slots and run driver cleaner to get rid of all traces of the current driver and install the same one over again..the computer has not crashed since but it has not been that long.i don't understand how getting the latest driver is a bad thing.....oh and its not cause of overheating i monitor my laptop temps all the time and it has a really nice cooling pad is it possible its the laptops power supply or some how gpu in not getting right voltage....but i have never overclocked it
