Whenever machine shuts down, when I try to restart I get a white screen with vertical rainbow stripes. I have to hit the start multiple times, 100 or more sometimes to get it to boot up. Then it goes to regular boot or it will display a recovery mode. As long as the computer is left on, no problems..screen looks fine. Any advice?
Have already tried the hard reset and have downloaded all new drivers from HP site. I have made a win7 recovery disk and have a mirror system backup on an external drive. Should I attempt to go to factory reset? Thanks for your time,
