The resume from sleep works fine with Win8
Problem appears only with Win8.1
Tried 4 times (2 upgrade from Win8 using dvd provided from HP + 2 clean install of Win8.1 using msdn iso)
Bios updated to 1.07 (latest)
ALL driver&HP tools installed in latest version
ALL Winupdates installed
used HP support TOOL & reports nothing more to update/install
I opened a thread on business forum, followed some user advices resulting in crewing up the working Win8 install (for gode shake, before I made a part-image for restore)
