RAM Test Failure

Dear Support,

I have an HP Envy Notebook below are the specs:-

It has Quad AMD10 processor

16GB DDR3 RAM

 

Ok here is the issue.

 

The laptop keeps restarting itself, at times this is 5 minutes after loggin on, from cold start, at times about an hour after logging on.

 

So after about 4 months of suffering from this hell, i decided to recovery this machine back to factory settings. Thinking this would eradicate all the issues i am having.

This at every angle is ever soo annoying, as i am constantly expecting the machine to crash, at this very moment i am anticipating that. so i shall be very informative and brief.

 

I ran some RAM tests, using the windows provided tool - Failed 2 minutes into the test

I ran the HP UEFI memory test:- Failed within 30 seconds

I ran the Memtest:- Failed about 5 minutes into the test.

 

So in a nutshell i am pretty adamant i have either two muodules or a single module which is faulty.

 

Need some advice and going forward on how to resolve this.

 

I have purchased 3 years extensive all inclusive warranty, which expires in 2016.

 

Is this something that the warranty covers?
