Hi, I'm using a 14-e004tx HP pavilion laptop
I just bought it about 6months ago and it comes preinstalled with Windows 8 OS
Problem: I can't seem to fully shut down my laptop, when I click shutdown, the screen turns off but the power button light remains lit along with the wifi keyboard button, and I will have to press and hold the power button to shut it down
Also when I try to let it sleep either by clicking sleep or just putting the screen down, the screen turns black and the power button light remains lit, I remember it used to blink when it's sleeping, but it isn't anymore and I can't wake it up
Restarting works normally, I have tried looking online for solutions and have tried:
1. Going to control panel power settings and uncheck hybrid shutdown
2. Going to command prompt and type something with disabledynamicticks
This issue just happened one fine day, I haven't done any updates or installations before it
I'm not exactly good with computers, please forgive me for being ignorant in any way, but I hope you can help me with this issue.
