This began a week ago today. I was doing homework on my laptop when it froze in the screen would not respond to anything. I shut the computer down and when turned back on the computer showed in error disk message. After calling HP and getting thrown around to multiple representatives, I was told that my warranty was expired and I had to call the care plan to activate it. I called and they were closed. That same day I register the care plan online. The following day I called HP back and they again said that my warranty was not in effect. I told them how I registered it online and they still disagreed with my statement. I had to talk with a representative and reregister the care plan. Once that was finally completed I was told that a new hard drive would be sent to my address and that I would have to take it somewhere to get it fixed. I told the gentleman I was not confident with fixing it myself and I did not feel comfortable doing that. I was told a technician would come to my home on January 25th. On January 24 around 8 PM I received a phone call stating that a technician was not available to come the following day to fix my computer. I was planning on the technician being there and so I had to find an alternative way to do my homework for my college class. They should have never made the appointment without the knowledge that a technician was not available to keep that appointment. Not to mention I cannot understand the support people's speech. If they would just hire Americans then maybe I would be able to understand what they were saying. I am disgusted that I giant company such as HP would make such a stupid mistake in their customer service. This will be the last HP products that I purchased or my family purchases. Has anyone else had problems with customer service? I would like other people's opinion on this and please keep your rude comments to yourself thanks
