Pavilion G6-2235TX

Hello,

So earlier today I was turning on my laptop (HP Pavilion G6-2235TX) which I had been using fine for a little while since I bought it yesterday and I was given a HP BIOS update, which recommended that I go through with the update.

Believing that I should go through with it, I pressed "yes" and the upgrade continued on. It all seemed to go fine until I got to the screen where I am told that the laptop will now restart. It says it may take a few minutes and the screen may remain blank, but it all seemed good. I pressed it and the screen became a grey color. It continued to switch from grey to black and back for about 20 minutes, until I turned it off.

I tried to restart it a few times and the windows error recovery came up, but I do not have a usb or cd with windows recovery on it (I was not give one from the company I bought it from).

After a quick search I found that if I started it up while holding the windows key+B it should recover the BIOS. I did that, and the process went through with no trouble until I got to the restart screen again, and the same thing occured as it did earlier.

Now the laptop seems to be stuffed...

What else can I try, or should I just get back to Centrecom (company I bought it from) ?

Note:

I bought this laptop in Australia
