Major Mouse issues

I have a HP Laptop Product # F9H61UA#ABA, I would give the name of it but I can't go to another tab to look it up because of my problem.

My problem, you see, is that my mouse, weither it be USB (Logitech) or the pad, will not click on certian things, like the settings menu on my browser of choice, Chrome, or at times the icons on my desktop. If I try to click the backspace icon on my browser it opens the older webpage up in a new tab and if I make an attempt to click it the tab is then closed, almost mockingly so. I also find that there are some websites that I am now no longer allowed to click on. At all. Combined with the extreme mouse stutter and I am seriously confused.

I have run at this time some 3 Malwarebytes scans and a Windows Defender scan as well. They have all come up clean. I am running a forth as I write this. The only thing that helped was to restart my laptop but it only worked for a few short hours before the problems once more reared they're ugly heads.

I am hoping to figure out a way to do some sort of home fix to this and not send my laptop into be serviced...
