I felt compelled to get a new notebook in May after XP expired on my current laptop. (Clearly, I'm about function and not the latest thing available - ha!) I purchased a 17-E15OUS w/ 8.1 and unfortunately due to the seemingly possessed touchscreen I've only had the patience to use it a handful of times since then - making me reqret my purchase as I'm still using the laptop I was trying to replace! Sigh.
Anywho...the touchscreen freezes when I try to move it with my finger or it just decides to hop around from app to app or if in word, increases and decreases in viewing size unprovoked. I took it to my IT person at work and he disabled the touchscreen and and assured me it wasn't user error, it was something wrong with the touchscreen itself.
So now I reach out to you to see if there is troubleshooting to be done or if this is a lemon.
