Stuck on HP in blue circle after recovery

I installed a new HD, so I purchased the HP Recovery disk. New HD installed, went through both Disk 1 and 2 as well as the driver disk. The computer went through a bunch of installing programs, ultimately restarting the computer. The computer fires up but stuck on the HP in the blue circle, Bottom left corner says, Press the ESC key for setup menu.

I leave it like this for hours and nothing happens.

Ok I hit the ESC, (HP in Blue circle still in middle of screen) ESC ...Pause Startup stays like this.

HELP?!
