Black screen

Hi,

Im having issues with my HP G62 laptop, i keep getting a blank screen when i try and boot it up. I have tried the hard reset and connecting to an external monitor and still get a blank screen. The fan is working and can be heard, but caps lock key is not lighting up?!

Can anyone help?
