touch pad freezes

Hi im saketh .. i buy a lap HP Pavilion g6 , after using some days the touch pad started freezing suddenly when im in work.
then i will swap the pad 2 or 3 times n off the touch pad to restart it.. some time it works n some time it wont works.. what i have to to to recover from that problem.. i already reinstalled the os .. i got laptop wit win8 os n i upgrade to 8.1 .. 
some times the system became so slow , even i cant play a music in my laptop... n the disk memory showing 100% in use  for using single application.. n i cheak for os updates daily

plz tell me a solution for my touch freezing n my disk memory usage
