good day. my laptop won't start up at all. when the unit is plugged in the led at the plug in port is glowing white.
when i attempt to start up the unit, the led at the power button glows white for approximately 4 seconds, then goes off.
there are no sounds whatsoever coming from the unit nor are there any blinking lights on the keyboard.
i have tried removing the battery and pushing the power button etc but no change.
the laptop is a hp pavilion m6.
a bit more background. a couple of weeks ago, i stepped on the laptop and the screen cracked. there was no picture but the laptop would start up ok. i connected the laptop to an external display and it worked just fine so i replaced the screen but it has not started up since i replaced the screeen.
i just re-installed the old screen just in case there was an issue with the new screen but to no avail. all the same symptoms still persist. i have made sure the screen connection is good.
