corrupt bios

Hi

I have a pavillion dv5 1058eo with a corrupt Bios. The screen i black and the led-codes is 2 blink.  That means I must replace Bios. I have tried with an USB-pen with the last bios-drivers. I have turned off the computer, moved the batteri and moved the power-cord. Then hold the on-buttom for one minute.

Have made an USB-stick for FAT32 og copy the bios files into it. (Renamed the files 30F2F38.fd to 30F2.bin and 30F2.rom.)

Then insert the USB-stick and power-cord. I hold the windows-key and B at same time when I turn on the computer. The computer turns on and the USB-stick lights for a few second. Then nothing happends.

The led-codes still blinking 2-times.

I tried this severel times, but after the first time the USB-stick not got blinking.

Is there someone who have an idea whats wrong??

(I have cross-cheked that the version of bios-files are correct. )

:-)
