My laptop was working perfectly last night, and now when I try to turn it on, it gets stuck on the splash screen with the HP logo. After ten minutes of this, it shows "Preparing Automatic Repair" underneath the spinning animation. After this is up for a long time, the screen goes grey and nothing happens any more. I would really like some help because I'm afraid something catastrophic has happened to my computer (Which isn't even a year old!!!!!)
It's an HP Pavilion if that helps at all. Also, I've tried taking the battery out, holding the power button and only plugging in the AC adapter. It doesn't work.
