My Pavilion 15 Notebook PC repeatedly keeps hanging and slowing down the performance of applications, I got fed up with it and decided to completely restore the computer to its factory settings. Recovery just stayed on the "preparing" page and didn't do a thing all night. The audio system also packed up: it just keeps displaying "audio system not plugged in" and quite recently, the laptop doesn't play any games: not even NFS.
