Hello: I hope that someone can help me. I have an HP G62 Notebook PC. My son was loading a resume onto a Shoprite job website. It then stated that the resume file was corrupt. It was copied from Microsoft task works Word Processing. Then the computer said the above errors (0x080070005 and oxo80070057). I got stuck in an endless rebooting mode, when I attempted to restore it to an older time when it worked. I cannot boot it to Vista Windows. When pushing F9 F8 F anything, I tried running tests. It said Battery needs replacing, battery test failed. I tried everything, nothing works. I am very upset. I have backed up my laptop about 5 times, but not in the last six months, on an external hard drive. Before it crashed, it would not let any updates to work, they said "Failed". I have tried all suggestions from the internet, and nothing works yet.
If someone can help me, I would really appreciate it. The laptop did not come with a disc. I cannot downoad anything that would help to repair it. After looking at this site, it seems to be a common problem with this notebook-pc. It seems that nobody has been successful in rebooting the laptop and getting it to function properly again. I really don't think that it is the battery. I read that there is some kind of a disc to correct this problem, but don't know how to obtain it or what it is called.
