My brand new HP Pavilion touchsmart model 14-b109 after working for a few hours crashed. It said "diagnosing your PC". I did a hard reset by unplugging, removing battery and pressing the power button for 15 seconds, then replaced the battery and ac cord and pressed the power button. It gave me a black screen with the spinning 5 dots for 30 minutes and had now been on "Diagnosing your PC" for 30 minutes. It runs on windows 8.
