Hi!
I've recently had problem with my Laptop (HP Envy14 Spectre, with Windows 7 Home Premium) rebooting when I close the lid and leavs it like that.
Whenever I open the lid I'm greeted with the typical black sceen saying that the computer wasn't shut down properly and offers me the opportunity to start as usual or check it out in some kind of safe-mode.
The log seems to call it TN Kernel Power Event 41.
I'm out on deep water, but I've done some research on my own without finding the problem.
I have disabled the "turn of in case of system error" to get a chance to see the error myself, but without any luck. The computer keeps rebooting.
I have checked the power options and they are as far as I can see correct.
I have tried checking for corrupted files with the command prompt (due to an advice here on the forum) with nu luck.
I believe this problem came after I did the latest HP update, a couple of days ago. I have no clue what the update included, and dont know where to check it up, but the computer worked perfectly before that.
I'm grateful for any help. Please tell me if there is any additional information you need to figure this out.
