I have a Pavilion dv7-6b55dx Entertainment Notebook PC. I bought it less than 2 years ago and very recently it simply clicks off and back on, and then off again, and back on repeatedly. In order to get it to reboot, all poer supplies have to be cut off. You can't power it down, it locks in the click on click off mode.
I took the PC back to Best Buy where I purchased it, and they told me I ought to just buy a new PC...But after such a short time of owning this one, I was pretty upset. The Geek there told me that PC's aren't built to last, and to fix the issue would be costly with no guarantee it will stay fixed.
If anyone out there has some advice for me, I would love to hear it.
Thank you.
