hp probook 4510s charging problem

Hi,

I have an HP ProBook 4510s laptop. The old battery is a 6 cells battery (10.8 V, 4200 mAh), which right now is quite dead. So, I bought a new battery with 8 cells (14.4 V, 5200 mAh). The AC Adapter output is 19V, 4.74 A, 90W. The old battery was charging without problems, but this 8 cell after I plug in the AC Adapter into laptop it charge approx 15-20 sec. and then it stops - I see that there is no loading activity at the battery meter and the charging percent remains at the same value.

What can be the problem? the AC Adapter is too small for this 8 cell battery ?! or this laptop doesn't support the battery ?

I have try the trick uninstalling the battery from the Device Manager, as I read on this forum, but with no result.
