OK, so I've had my laptop about a year-ish, and just within the last few months or so, the trackpad on the laptop will freeze up, and it should be noted that I NEVER TURN OFF/ON THE TRACKPAD MYSELF, it just stops working from anywhere from a few seconds to more than 5 minutes. Now, thank goodness I also have a wireless mouse hooked up so I can at least still USE my laptop when this freeze happens. But I want to fix it ASAP because it gets more and more frustrating each time.
I have Windows 8, my laptop model is HP 2000 Notebook, and the product number is: C2N25UA#ABA
I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the external mouse, because until recently, they have worked fine when it's USB is plugged into my laptop and I try to use the TrackPad.
Is there any updated free software that maybe I need to put on my laptop so that it will fix this issue???
I hate to have to buy a product or something to fix it, when it really shouldn't have this issue to begin with, considering the laptop is barely a year old.
Any input, advice, and suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.
