Hi there , This computer has been in the family for four years now and i decided i wanted to use it. I formatted the whole machine and reinstalled windows, updated the Nvidia graphics driver(specs below). 2 days later i couldn't start the pc, i would press the start button and it wouldn't respond, i then did the whole remove battery, pres power button 30 secs thing and it worked. Then about 2 days later I was browsing internet and suddenly the computer froze and made a loud beep noise, it didn't stop so i held power down and restared. since then it did it again, randomly, especially as i was playing dota 2, so i uninstalled dota 2 , installed a driver updater and updated EVERY driver i could, it still happend, I did a hard disk bios check - no errors, I used memtest to test ram- 1 pass without errors. I then rolled back the graphics driver since that was the first one i installed since the format. everything went smooth (dint reinstall dota2) but then it happend again, this time without the beep sound, was just browsing on chrome, it just hangs, caps lock light won't respond, mute button wont respond, nothing. I dont know what the problem is!! I think it is purely the hardware that is too old and i should give up..thoughts?
