Well looking at all the same issues with several products of HP it almost seems likely they are doing this remotely. why do I say this; for one me and my son purchased ours the same day same store same notebook and they both did the same exact thing on the same day...I called HP all they wanted me to do was buy the warranty again...why though; when they don't even know whats wrong (or do they) this is kinda strange...so I took it just Saturday and as soon as the guy plugged it in and held the enter button it came right on and that lasted until this morning....now nothing back to the white flashing light...then like others mentioned I charged it for hours still nothing. I think HP may be behaving much like Apple on this. Im going to find out because this has to be illegal and I think something is up with HP
